Casmify Terms of Use

Welcome to Casmify! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Casmify’s mobile applications, websites, and all services rendered by Casmify (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

2. Use of Services

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. By creating an account or using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Communications

By creating a Casmify account, you consent to receive communications from us, including service-related messages, feature updates, announcements, and occasional promotional emails. You may opt out of non-essential promotional communications at any time.

Ecosystem Applications

Your Casmify Account grants you access to a interconnected suite of applications. By using specific apps, you agree to the following conditions:

  • AI Companions (Student Companion, Life Companion, Studdy AI): These applications use artificial intelligence to generate text and assist with tasks. AI-generated content is provided for informational and productivity purposes only. Casmify does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs. You agree not to use our AI services to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
  • Games (Word Jollof, Block Buster): Our games are provided for personal entertainment. Exploiting bugs, using unauthorized third-party tools, or manipulating gameplay to artificially inflate scores or farm Casmify Points is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
  • HallMart: HallMart is a campus marketplace platform for peer-to-peer trading (buying, selling, and renting goods) and campus service providers (delivery, photography, design, etc.). HallMart operates exclusively in Nigeria and is bound by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By using HallMart, you agree to trade responsibly. Listing illegal, prohibited, or fraudulent items/services is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your Casmify account. Casmify acts as a facilitator and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any transaction or service.
  • Premium Subscriptions: Certain advanced features (such as Student Companion Pro) require a paid subscription. All subscription terms, including free trial periods, renewals, and cancellation policies, are clearly outlined at the point of purchase and can be managed through your Casmify dashboard.

3. Casmify Points (CP) Program

"Casmify Points" (CP) are virtual reward credits provided to users of the Casmify Ecosystem as a gratuity for activity and engagement.

No Cash Value

Casmify Points are not legal tender, cryptocurrency, or real-world money. They have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash, check, or credit. CP cannot be transferred to other users, sold, or exchanged for real-world currency at this time. They function solely as a voucher system to access specific premium features within the Casmify Ecosystem.

Earning and Redemption

Casmify reserves the right to determine the amount of CP awarded for specific actions and the cost of redeeming CP for services. We may change these rates at any time without prior notice. Redemption of points is final and cannot be reversed.

Expiration and Termination

Casmify reserves the right to void CP or terminate the rewards program at any time. If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms of Service, all accrued Casmify Points will be immediately forfeited.

Future Modifications

While CP cannot currently be exchanged for fiat currency, Casmify reserves the right to modify the utility of CP in the future. Any such changes will be communicated via updates to these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

The Services and all original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Casmify and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission from Casmify.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of Casmify or others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts.
  • Upload or distribute malicious code, malware, or harmful content.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may also discontinue use of the Services at any time.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Casmify makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, availability, or suitability of the Services for any particular purpose.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the last-updated date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
